This book which I personally did not understand, is more muddled, confused, slow understanding the mechanisms of language. and includes French errors. Straw!
I urge anyone who wants to approach the Japanese language to turn preferably to the POCKET ASSIMIL for immersion friendly, fast and serious at the heart of language, small notebook KAKIKATA Ellipses in for a quick introduction and "fun "HIRAGANA characters and KATAKANA to the volume READ AND WRITE THE JAPANESE at LAROUSSE for an introduction to writing KANJI characters. To go further I recommend THE JAPANESE MANGA at GLENAT (several volumes) and of course the ASSIMIL method that is in three volumes if I'm not mistaken.
Shame, shame, shame that three times "The Japanese for Dummies" is not up to the other methods of this great collection!
