confusing and charming !!!

This book is really confusing (the master word of this book). As I said above, especially because of this mixture of genres. When I read that this book was a thriller, I really struggled to believe and yet it speaks well of serial killers and even beheading. Adrian, our hero, or rather our anti-hero discovers a notebook that gradually binds to its author, who lived in his house but a century earlier. It will be hallucinating but is that the drugs he takes, more or less regularly?
Mixing the two eras is more than troubling. I sometimes struggled to find my way but I found this "Micmac" very refreshing.
In the beginning of this book, we do not really know where you walk a little further and the book even less, but surprisingly it is mostly why I liked this book.

I loved exploring the old house where the family will settle Hadrian. I also really liked the history of it. By cons, personally, I did not really like the characters. I have not been able to attach myself to them, except Colombe, who rode on this book as a shadow. I found them too caricatured, I found the dialogue too phoned, especially as the style of dialogue is sometimes just too raw or too bombastic for my taste.

Despite this, I could not take off from this first volume. He always had as I know more, you can not stop me. The short chapters have accentuated this addictive effect and finally, we come to the end of the book, turning the last page, and asking where are the result ???

Finally, a book confusing mixing many genres including too caricatured characters have not conquered me but whose very original story and very well staged that we can ultimately that devour the book péplorant Following that is not yet written :)
