I've bought from the cord around my WD Red 1TB 2.5 inch with a Galaxy Note (1st Gen) to connect 10.1 N8010, because it "provides" more than the adapter too little power.

Combined with a 6AH battery of anchor and this cable, we were able to look over 20h of footage on your tablet without fixed power supply.

The product is thus highly recommended.
