"Three musicians, a sound and a lot of strings ...", which is what is involved in the STRING UNIT, a trio that has the same name with its work (Ozella Music / INAK) caused a lot of excitement. This CD is very special, because it does not provide many trios to make such a dense carpet of sound which moreover comes so colorfully. Dagobert Böhm (acoustic guitar), Zoltan Lantos (5saitige violin) and Markus Reuter (touch Guitar) move musically somewhere between King Crimson, Jean Luc Ponty and Shakti. Although here no percussion instruments are used, so it create the three - build real Grooves - especially through the toothed rhythms of plucked acoustic guitar and the use of 8saitigen touch Guitar. Times it sounds Indian and Hungarian times, then again as the campfire in the wild west. "Tau" (Track 2) is my favorite. Hear it gaaaaanz loud!
