Unfortunately, I can only recommend Rome 2 the fewest people in its current version. Only those who for years waiting for the game should get it, ask to be silent after that.
The sounding now very negative, which is a lot of wonder in the face of some good reviews. Nevertheless, one can, just as a fan of the series, not only refer to the positive aspects and ignore the many problems. So I had about 6 hours of play (1h campaign 5h Prologue / Tutorial) already found more than 30 bugs.

My advice is; still waiting a few months and you buy it at Christmas, when hopefully much improved.

In detail:

+ Good graphics
+ Unit diversity, compared to Shogun 2
+ Harmonious design
+ Placeable equipment (barricades, traps etc.)
+ Lots of good ideas (unfortunately the implementation is often inadequate)
(Combined land and sea are here purposely not!)

- Long migration periods (partially 5min, for some even longer)
- Graphics gliches
- Poor performance
- Verbugte Buttons
- Lack of KI (even for total war conditions)
- Moderate balance
- Wrong sounds are played (eg we have destroyed a tower when taking points)
- Wrong tooltips
- Partially bad UI (eg time to time small to large windows)
- Capture the Flag and in open areas
- Objects are partially misplaced (eg floating forts)
- Faulty collision detection (eg driving through country vessels)
