Power Supply
First limitation at this point is the strictly necessary power supply, which makes the use of traveling on a laptop almost impossible. Since there were no alternatives (08/2012), I would have taken this into account. The power supply is plugged with country adapters, unfortunately, the contact is never really inspire confidence, he always feels shaky. Furthermore, there were at each power source and at different computers an effect I previously knew only by an inferior lamp: when connecting the housing (plugged power supply) on the laptop you have the stress on the laptop surface feel this is live. No slide, but bucking a kind ... Maybe someone knows how to call this effect.

Housing
The case is processed properly, the plates are secure. The setting of Raidmodi over pins on the back is not sunk, one can easily get to it by mistake. The pins are not smooth, but an accidental switching destroyed the data.

Function
This is the point that leads to the devaluation of only one star; RAID 1 is useless because Windows (several computers, different plates, different cable, two housing) the device loses again and again, so the device is no longer discoverable. JBOD did not work (no drives found), Raid 0 I have not tested. The normal mode takes two plates, both can be exploited. But I do not need Raid housing.

Conclusion
From experience I can say that in principle useful Lindy external HDD components built, with a bit of rework that can also work here. The design problems with the accessible pins and the disturbing power supply hot for me, however: Find Next.
