Once you turn on the atomizer there is an approximately 5-8 cm thin column of smoke straight up. If you press and release the button, a short steam hisses out of the opening. Pressing the button for longer runs the steam formation for ~ 2 hours.
I have used distilled water with fragrance oil. The unit produces sufficient water vapor and one could even use for inhalation of water vapor. The fragrance oil was not as nice as I hoped distributed in space. I think it is no aroma diffuser but a steam generator. After an operation of about 1 hour, it has become significantly wetter at the table around the atomizer as well as plenty of power was produced. To produce steam is really the strength of the device.
If you are the instrument very close (a few centimeters), then you hear a high-pitched tone. Presumably, it is the sound of the nebulizer.
Cute, elegant little water evaporator. Distribution of fragrances is not the strength of the device.
