D-Bos debut at Ersguterjunge ...

Deovolente (Audio CD)

Customer Review

After a four year break D-Bo is now so with his second solo album after "Deutscha Playa" around the corner.
As he had announced just recently in an interview Juice, his claim was for 'Deutscha Playa' no longer is to have to stand up as the roughest rapper, but committed to the truth to see. Say, he wanted to make the step towards the most honest rapper in the game.
I believe that he has succeeded. I know of no other rapper in Germany, which allows such melancholic and depressive insight into his inner life, yet does not act embarrassed.
But this album contains the typical party tracks ('' dance '' with Saad; music: Ilan), representer ("Anders"; Music: D-Bo) and Battle tracks ("victims" with Bass Sultan Hengzt; music : D-Bo) seem to belong now de rigueur in the scene.
However, the majority of the songs is concerned, as already mentioned with less pleasant of topics a la money worries, relationship problems dispute among friends and near-death experiences. Especially the latter is in '' All alone '' (music: Ilan) together with the Turkish singer Aisha the secret masterpiece of plate.
The album was produced more or less of D-Bo alone, only a few songs Ilan grabbed him under the arms or steered a complete beat in ("Dance" & All "alone"). The D-Bo can produce, is not to doubt and he had already submitted in some releases of Bushido impressive evidence (for example, "Butterfly" on Electro Ghetto).
But the spirits about D-Bo differ on a different point: namely to rap about his voice and style.
One thing first: It has been shown sufficiently that they are not to everyone's liking. D-Bo is certainly not a man for the first row, but to call him a '' non-Rapper '' is just as exaggerated. He has done his homework and steals some other technically versierterem rapper simply because of its concept songs the show. But unfortunately sometimes destroyed one way or another technical inadequacy in its flow or rhyme scheme, the seemed to be sure hit. It is no different to explain that he has not recorded not one single release.

Conclusion: Deo Volente is a different kind of music than you would expect from Ersguterjunge. There is really not much of a man, who hides behind the pseudonym D-Bo and knows how to impress with D-Bos much cited honesty and his extraordinary abilities producers. Unfortunately, is his way of Rap far mass appeal, which is why I would recommend this album only people who know his way of rapping and love.

Data: This album includes 17 songs (including two skits) and has a total playing time of 54 minutes and 24 seconds.
