I clearly knew the name of the band and the rough career. Despite never having found their way to my platter a plate of PL. This DVD / 2CD Package I have also risen mainly because of the fine design (double-Digi in a very nice slipcase).
The purchase has certainly paid off. In level one, there is the 2007 concert at London's Koko Club. The set list is top notch and offers a nice cross-section of the discography. In the booklet witty comments from Nick Holmes and Greg Mackintosh way, are included for each song. Picture / sound are very good, but I can only judge stereo. The setlist contains gems such as the recent 'The Enemy' or known as Video 'Praise Lamented Shade', the Electronic-Rockige 'One Second' or the first mother of the Gothic 'Gothic'. By the way is played after the official sets yet 'isolates', is not mentioned on the cover. The show is spartan with little action, but you get the feeling that guys are doing with heart. That the backing vocals, keyboards and some effects are imported only as samples, tarnishes the good impression a bit.
The second DVD includes a half-hour documentary 'Lost In America' with quite interesting insights into life on tour. Furthermore, some interviews and video clips.
The audio CD's offer the same setlist as the DVD, only without 'isolates'. I can now comparing to the studio versions do not pull, but for me an almost perfect piece of music, melancholic, exciting, no bad song.
