The big Einfüllstuzten is helpful, but we had (so far) the apples into quarters anyway. Probably we have used very large apples. The Gastroback has a good juice yield, the pomace is rel. . dry We now have apples, rhubarb, citrus fruits (pre-peeled), cucumber, ginger, pepper, celery and carrots 'gesaftet', and with all these fruits and vegetables had the Gastroback no problem at all. Rhubarb should be young, and maybe you should remove the 'worst' pieces shell, since the fibers otherwise remain hanging in the sieve.
The smoothie-use we have not yet tested.
Cleaning goes rel. fast because of Gastroback up with just a few simple and can degrade again. The included brush for the screen works fine. Both spent coffee and juice containers are large (handy for collecting's pomace and juice, but by the size and easy to clean - a hand with sponge fits comfortably in).
The Gastroback is very solidly built, a het-quality appearance and is very stable (is also rel. Difficult). All components look high quality, nothing is 'cheap plastic', nothing wobbles. The mounting and dismounting of the upper parts (screen, filler, etc.) is very simple, since only the metal bracket must be moved (until it clicks).
In summary: so far we're really excited because we were looking for a juicer, the 'daily use' is, and can be often and regularly used (with joy). The Gastroback has what it takes! We are looking forward to the juices and smoothies!
The Gastroback was delivered incl. A small book with recipes.
Meanwhile, we also tested the top smoothie (banana) and are very satisfied. The smoothie is very fluffy-fluffy and will remain so long (does not fall quickly together).
