Whut? Thee Album (Audio CD)

Customer Review

... The radio Docta Spock. This is the first disc at all, which was produced by EPMD's Erick Sermon (in "Business Never Personal" he PMD and have about the same amount contributed to the production, older EPMD albums are still predominantly produced by PMD). Erick Sermon left a short time later the Hitsquad and EPMD broke up. With Redman and several other protagonists, he founded the Def Squad.

Most people who do not know this record here, are the two most who met shortly before and after the turn of the millennium were released through her things. Sound-wise but this is still significantly different. It is also different from EPMD, although the roots are clearly audible. The sound is also influenced by the other groups that were current at the time, about Cypress Hill, which are also sampled. From start to finish ensure Sermon and Redman (of itself also co-produced) for a rough but extremely funky sound. Boredom comes in this disc to never. In "Watch yo nuggets" doyen looks Sermon in person and properly drop a few of the better lines of his career. The About Track from the album "Blow Your Mind". In "Redman Meets Reggie nobble" Redman battlet themselves and gaining clear;)

Even otherwise there lots of fun on this record.

Its mainstream breakthrough had Redman only by his guest appearance at Christina Aguilera's "Dirty" and his collaboration with Method Man (which I find really boring compared to each previous releases). Nevertheless, this is here one of the best, if not the same as the best Redman disc at all. But he was interesting at least until "Muddy Waters".
