A great album of my personal favorite Ruff Ryder Styles P. His class has already shown on the The LOX album "We Are The Streets", where he is by far the best of the LOX crew Styles. His voice fits very well with his dark, pessimistic lyrics that reflect life in the ghetto of Yonkers, NY. The beats are absolutely typical of LOX and Ruff Ryders conditions (and therefore good). Produced by the likes of Swizz Beatz, Dee & Wah, The Alchemist or Mr. Devine. Particularly noteworthy are the tracks "A Gangster and a Gentleman," "We Thugs" feat. Jadakiss & Sheek Louch (whose album "Walk With Me", incidentally, does not even begin to Styles' reaches as) and "The Life" feat. Pharoahe Monch. The only thing to complain about on this album, are the many skits that we of The LOX are unfortunately accustomed. All in all, an absolutely successful debut album, which almost belongs in a category with other Classic Debuts as Nas' "Illmatic", Jay-Z's "Reasonable Doubt" or Snoop's "Doggystyle".
