Perfect is the exterior. Design, operation, materials. No plastic smell and taste.
Worst is the electronics!
9 watts standby power = 0,216 kWh = 78 kWh daily energy requirement annual energy requirement = 19,50 Euro Electricity costs per year (1 kWh = 0.25 euros) on standby! Hammer!
Then, the machine heats not continuously but at intervals!
Kettle switches on after a short time (click) again, after 20-30 seconds again!
Sometimes the unit turns off twice. (I have two devices tested)
According Gastroback hotline that is normal and is the gentle heating of the water. For me, it is an electronics fault or constructional features!
So who needs a designer piece to the kettle can buy confidently. But do not plug connector, otherwise there will be operating costs!
Who needs an adjustable kettle which also works properly, have to look long.
So far I have not yet found. (Krups BW 501 C see my recession, Russel Hobbs Energy Saving, after half a year is defective)
