So now I have my original PSU at home permanently installed and use the flatter Leicke device on the go. Since I am traveling a lot, I have it now can test and would therefore like to say a few words about this:
The power supply performs properly and reliably serving. The connector fits nicely in my Ultrabook, it should be noted no wobbling or the like. The processing is, however, also to assess overall very positive. Beautifully crafted, the cable connections at the voltage transformer are good knick-protected, the cable length is perfect, the roughened surface of the transformer so feels good all in all an excellent product.
For testing, I have it now also once worked with a digital multimeter, and realized that the output voltage is perfect. Thus, I do not worry about my battery, so I can be sure that it is supplied with optimal charge current.
Even in my laptop bag, the nice flat power supply fits in perfectly. Who wants to have a big bulky power adapter in your pocket when but the Ultrabook is so nice and flat?
The PSU has an additional USB charging port with 2 ampere. So I naturally connected my phone and am thrilled. Finally I can charge my laptop and my cell phone with only one device and not have to handle with different power supplies. Even more convenient is the whole thing at the moment for me, because I have at my wedding a few days ago my PSU forget the cell phone at the hotel and have now so still a possibility to load without having always hang it on the laptop mobile.
Now we come to the only small disadvantage I could find: When I was last weekend with my in-laws, the power supply has actually disrupted the radio reception there. For this you have to say that the radio is there more than 20 years old but fair enough. Otherwise I can not find any problems.
Conclusion: strong buy recommendation! Class equipment at a reasonable price, it's definitely worth the but!
