Have decided to use the knee pads, because I did not want to bind this giant cushion on his knees to me.

The saver serve their purpose perfectly!

However, some of the foam plates have become loose after a while and I had to repeatedly fumble at the right spot this.

A call to Amazon and I got sent replacement, now time to wait as long holds the spare!
