It's 2010, and young people aged 15-25 (except some of them) have never heard of this fabulous group that was "Deep Purple". I know a girl of 20 who does not even know the Beatles. Going back to Deep Purple in Rock is a marvel. Listen Child In Time, Speed King, or Flight Of The Rat and you will understand that this group with Ritchie Blackmore, Jon Lord, Ian Peace, Ian Gillan and Roger Glover had nothing to envy to Led Zep was a super-mega Group. Although having bought in CD, vinyl, I must reiterate my pocket of my life. Indeed until 1988-1990 (Start CD), buying a 33 rpm with a large pocket was a marvel and a precious object. Deep Purple as Led Zeppelin, the Stones or The Beatles have been for me as vinyls. Listen to Deep Purple. This one or "Machine Head" and "Fireball" or the fabulous live "Made in Japan". Long live rock.
