An excellent opus 1

In the series of novels starring Matthew Shardlake, the hunchback lawyer of the reign of Henry VIII, this is an excellent album. The historical interest, well done thriller, psychology of the characters, everything converges to make this thrilling story.
It is worth noting, however, that this novel is the latest in a series of five, Dissolution, Dark Fire, Sovereign, Revelation, and finally Heartstone and is rather recommended to read them in the order if we do want to put the cart before the horse, maybe that's what most important for a historical series for a contemporary series.
An excellent book for all lovers of history, suspense and good literature in general!
