One of the best German-language albums

I had bought this album in 1987 as a vinyl disc and regularly played over and over and even later it has digitized accompanied me through life. For a long time it was for me even the best German disc (next Mitteregger ... otherwise there was at that time so little German alternatives).

Very good, I like the real-life lyrics on this record. Realistically, hard and yet emotional - sad but still with courage.
That was my feeling after from the 92er wheel different since it went downhill somehow textually with Purple Schulz.

Examples:
The times very different indescribable description of love in: It comes as the tide.

The most realistic musical representation of a relationship end in: It hurts (just directly and honestly without the usual around it).
Also the track "Gone" describes the feeling quite well (like Purple If there had experienced it) - but expressed not quite as nice as in "It hurts."

A very special song - and for me the best song from the musical point of Purple Schulz: "Four Steps".
I once read that it was a song written for political prisoners (including Mandela) - but also figuratively (before I read that) makes the song for all types of imprisonment nice point. But musically really worth listening to.
Available here on this MP3 download version as English version of "The Vision". But I do not know, because I still "only" have the vinyl.

Very beautiful ballads with "Give me" (sounds a bit like a sort of prayer or to speak openly to a Creator), or even "The State of Things".

The song what it meets today "too little time" - sounds musically joyful and to dance, but the text says rather the problem of this day of. Although I have not yet felt the 1987 so - so the text of his time is even properly and today more aptly.

Then another song which you should listen when you are down times: "Sometimes there's only one" ... with the A .. up and dancing - really succeeded despite the A-word.
Actually, there is not a song on this CD which could be described as a failure.
Musically most likely still is "passing" the weakest, but which in turn compensates through the narrative text.
"Paradise" comes from musical merry - is textually but sometimes wrong. Too bad - partly really cool, then next again.
But a failure I can not announce.

(Seen vinyl Technically) The first page is the best Purple Schulz page at all. If one were to "Gone" with "It hurts" swap, you would probably be 80%, the first page only hear :-) .... but the rest has its place.

From me to all who like some of his songs to hear a real best buy. Just listen to the songs on youtube and then buy here. Since this album for me personally a real classic is (similar to "Quartet" and "The Wall") - clearly full points and 5 stars.
