Yes ... unfortunately, that is the major shortcoming of the system: Some reviewers here complain about the lack of volume of the bass - I would argue that this is dependent on what music you listen to. For many a genre of more "trendy" Bass to others it does not fit perfectly. What in any genre but is equally disturbing is the lack of depth - you get the feeling to get only about 60-70% of the frequencies spit through the speakers: the highs and mids. Had not one to compare to quality system, you would probably not even notice anything, but in this room is still a good, old Denon UXX250 with two ARES L5 boxes that already actually produce a very pleasant sound with full sound spectrum White.
Now the reader may note that the course for 250 can not expect eventually the Denon to their sales time (probably shortly after the Ems Dispatch) tasted sometimes a few dollars more. I would agree readily, I would not have possessed a spot also cheap LG home theater system in England a few years ago who knew halfway audiophiles to inspire themselves. Did I think so 2008 cost about 280 pounds. Since the said model is unfortunately never came to the German market, I have this model considered as an alternative consideration - in the naive belief that it was LG standard to produce really good sound for very little money.
So I can state that as a home theater system the system (and as otherwise it sells LG yes) probably does an excellent service. There may even be an advantage if the depths are emphasized because voices sound so certainly a lot clearer. But I would like to use the system just as well at least for occasional music listening. But it is - I do not now how my Vorsprecher by terms such as "degenerate MP3 Generation" to throw myself - in my eyes ... only partly ... suitable.
