Have a favorable micro searched, I can use for YouTube videos because the microphone of my webcam overridden if one is getting too close, and very quietly picks up when you are farther away. Have therefore ordered this microphone and the KING lapel. The direct comparison I noticed in test shots instantly on the dull sound of the CMP MIC9. A lapel here, the much better recording quality, which is why I use the latter for my shots.
As emergency microphone CMP MIC9 may be ok if you even want to quickly skype with anyone. For videos that you want to share online, the microphone is in my opinion inappropriate - here I recommend the lapel. It costs even less than this.
