But one thing I want to get rid of, has nothing to do directly with the card, so it does not flow into the assessment, but maybe it can help some others who had a similar problem.
I've been using the microSD card in a nüvi 255. Bought, plugged, and nothing appears. Search semi-silly me from Garmin support, there is no manual, no reasonable answer to questions (text blocks, beautiful!)
You google up nearly to death and sudden enlightenment: the old equipment can apparently read maps (or maps) over 2GB. So do what? Ah, but finally a firmware update, and 10 minutes later, everything works fine.
But until this totally banal explanation takes time ... without any help from Garmin, which I enjoy!
