Test h2testw_1.4 the card reader (X1 Carbon (2014) USB3 with Transcend TS-RDF8K, incidentally, a low-priced device with which I am very satisfied):
Sandisk read / write: 36/30 MB / s
Samsung Read / Write: 65/37 MB / s
-> Samsung significantly faster
Test with Fuji X100: 8 series images with 5 frames / s (more pictures can not make the Fuji in a row); Time from start of recording series until the end of the writing process:
Sandisk: 17 s
Samsung: 14 s
Also, the dump of frames (here, the Fuji is very bitchy with slow cards / slow) running as fast with two card that it has not blocked me taking photos.
Test with Canon 6d: 20 sequential shots with maximum speed; Time from the start of each photography session until 20th picture (ie not until the end of the writing process, which still take some time):
Sandisk: 13 s
Samsung: 17 s (with freshly formatted and blank card)
Samsung: 25 s (if previously 200 images on the card are)
The old Sandisk is faster than the new Samsung in the 6d; If images have already been made, then even twice as fast.
The cards were each previously formatted in the respective camera.
Conclusion: The card on the card reader and the Fuji X100 very quickly, at the Canon 6d also good. Given the price and robustness (mechanically makes me the card a very good impression) a clear recommendation.
