Most:
+ The price, the pricing is good compared to what you get
+ The sound quality is good, the sound is true to the original sound despite its low boosted
+ Design pretty typical, the red cable is really appreciable
+ Package consists of a storage box of rigid plastic, plastic reel, and a set of 3 sizes of caps
Cons:
- The present very low
- The box and the retractor does not serve really, you probably want to wrap yourself
- Lack maybe a clip and a volume / play / stop control on the cable, personal opinion
- A little short cable length but it is a "standard" length in this market
To go further into the analysis, I tried to submit the JVC 3 intensive testing: video, music listening and gaming:
* As for video viewing, I'm a big fan of surround sound type and these headphones have a similar quality of my audiophile headphones Sennheiser. So you clearly hear sounds that are not audible through low quality helmets. The quality is good and the bass are live action is satisfactory.
* As for listening to music, the sound signature of these headphones are its low. For me, this is the most ear headphones "bassy" I've tested, you'll appreciate if you are looking for that purpose.
* As for the gaming, if you have a good sound card and the correct settings you will be on top. The spatial sound in 5.1 / 7.1 virtual is properly despite its stereo design (if you know set the course). The bass is very significant for games "explosives" as action games, shooting or racing games. For a bit more "relaxed" game I guess they do not really go bring you the added value you are looking for.
Both say extra time if you use these headphones is for its low, so either you agree or you lower to achieve a closer adjusting your habits. The bass is pulsed directly into the ear, it will not necessarily be comfortable for everyone (especially people unaccustomed to ITE). Apart from this aspect, the sound quality is to my mind over the competition in this price range, I mean that the sound is clean, does not saturate, remains faithful to the original sound, but with the big punch more.
I think if you want better (I mean a significant upgrade, not a product a little better) you will have to interest you in products in an upper price range of around 100, I think of some Shure models for example.
From a strictly technical point of view, this product is of excellent quality, its technical features are above the market and the most affordable price than its competitors. Obviously, these ear headphones do not match supra aural headphone audiophiles open, but they are already excellent in itself.
I hope this helps, have fun!
