Deeply impressed !!!

I was at the concert in Cologne and was absolutely impressed with what outstanding vocal quality leads at the highest level by this Sting concert. Hardly a singer manages to bring in this type quality to the live stage to rival a studio recording in nothingness. Very beautiful as it initiates various songs with little stories and anecdotes and so also the emergence in the creative process or the historical context zoom brings you closer to his audience.

I personally am not a fan of classical music, but like some popular pieces. So I was curious to see if could not be changed with overkill Stings songs beyond recognition here. On the contrary: Stings pieces that already have to be a special class are raised by these classical influences in still higher spheres without too much here has changed on the songs or degraded on the other side the orchestra to the banal accessory - an all-round success mix! I will not conceal the fact that it sounds one way or another orchestral Tonbeigabe something strange and getting used to for me. But the more I will now listen to the concert on DVD, the more for me this little weird points to something that will make the concert special.

For me the concert clearly proves that Sting is one of the greatest living musicians of all time. I am certain that in this work I will still last a lifetime !!!
