Since I already had some experience by CIV3, the introduction to Part 4 I noticed relatively easy, the proven concept has not changed.
The graphics are of course in accordance with the age of the game, a 3D view from a fixed perspective, but everything else is for a turn-based strategy game like this anyway just ornamentation. What I find very nice is the representation of all buildings and wonders of the city and in the Exterior, the predecessor yes saw all cities of almost equal. The animations of the units are better than in the predecessor, although there are occasional Garfikfehler combat related animation so that the counterparty temporarily disappear from the map (but only in the fight itself, the operation will not be affected).
A great advantage of ~ 4 year old game are the many patches which make it but relatively balanced and do not generate unnecessary rough Unbalanziertheiten (eg units).
Found cities, modernize, research, act (ver) and of course fight wars that have always been the main tasks of a CIV strategist and I can only say: The system works! At least until CIV 4)
