Dear Readers, Well 2 years ago I switched from compact cameras to this bridge camera, mainly because of the greater creative possibilities and not least because of the hand zooms. I do not want again to list all the positives and negatives of my previous reviewers, I agree with these reviews, for the most part. In fact, I would even forgive all 5 star to 3 months, but something has happened to me in the meantime, what has my faith in this camera shaken to the core. After the summer with the camera, I realized that the button for switching between focus modes no longer works, the camera did not come out of the Manual Focus mode. But since you "force" the camera by other button to autofocus could and it worked reliably, I thought it will be so can "only" be a switch problem that could be done through an exchange. Even if this would never cost few euros, I was so pleased with the camera, that it would have been ice value. I sent the camera (about 2 1/2 years after purchase) in the full knowledge that I would pay for the repair. After a very short time, I got a letter back from Fuji, however, who had a year-und.gar surprising content. They told me succinctly "Unfortunately, we can offer you the camera above any repairs since we no spare parts are available" (quote). They offered me instead a fee-sharing with a 50 deduction for my "old unit". I was shocked, because this camera is indeed still being sold !! Therefore, I can only urgently all abbaten from buying this camera, because even warranty repairs are then probably more problematic in the absence of spare parts, such as a little buttons / switches. It's a shame that such a good camera is degraded by such a bottomless poor service.
