This third novel by Khaled Hosseini presents itself as an immense fresco family spread over more than half a century from 1950, with a plethora of characters, a gallery of portraits painted by the author perfectly Detrés evolving through several countries of the lAfghanistan United States, France and Greece. Many topics are covered, war, human disability, fraternal relationship, the duty of memory, psychological misery, creating a sort of narrative dhétérogénéité both in time and in space and as much in form as in background, while inducing a chronology sometimes difficult to follow if lon is not concentrated. Given some particular narrative technique, it appears that the past constantly interferes with this. A beautiful style and high sensitivity at which a certain modesty sajoute punctuate every page of this extremely moving novel. This is a novel to read dune trafficking to remember what one has read before. The chapter beginnings are often particularly disconcerting moment because we sinterroge on where and with whom is lon. After a few dozen lines linconnu fortunately we leave and resurfaced. A beautiful book quite different from the previous two Hosseini certainly, but absolutely worth BE read.
