which can better my Smartfon

My in my 11 year old car permanently installed navigation is better. I had bought the Navi a US trip. Display too small, nested operation and confusing and the manual that I downloaded and printed out, not a word about the operation (routing), especially abroad. Why do I buy a Navi with foreign cards? My Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 can do better by far. With Google Maps, I could already preplan all travel sections at home. The Garmin nüvi 2475LT I have in the house no satellite reception, thus no pre-planning! I've sent the device back.
