The manufacturer indicates that the device is suitable for animals from 4.5 kg body weight. I think that is optimistic, our cat is a rather handsome (not thick) animal of 6.5 kg and even at it affects the device in some matchbox size but quite powerful.
It is positive that the animal not particularly bother on the device, after a short, so invest collar followed by treats and then decrease back collar including Tractive again, can be our cat put the collar without any problems with the device. We are happy now our cat to find relatively easy when required and now knowing always halfway genaus where he hangs out.
