I have to admit: Dirt 3 has Colin McRae Rally 2005, the best game that I've played. Challenging, varied, innovative. Challenging in the sense that from beginner to professional status, everything is possible. You can either switch all driver aids and drive in the clear behind-the-car view or off the entire HUD, ship his butt into the cockpit and experience the stages as they would also experience a rally driver. Varied, because it again (as with Dirt 2) many different modes are including Rally, Raid and Trailblazer. Innovative therefore, because the developers have included a completely new precedent in any racing game mode, namely Gymkhana. And this mode has what it takes, because he demanded a complete control over your own car to get from A to B healing.
Only drawback: The image has since Dirt 2 "only" in the sense that enhances the whirling dust, snow and so on with Dirt 3 looks much more realistic than the previous and the cars are a little more finely detailed than Dirt. 2 The often-mentioned flaws that the main menu can be spartan, I do not see as justified as it is nicely done. In addition, Dirt 3 is a racing game and the developers should focus on maintaining the racing fun and not embellish the main menu beautifully.
I therefore see no reason for a point deduction. All 5 points.
