Le Silence de Melody is a book that can affect anyone I think. The story of a child growing up with his disability - fearless spirit trapped in a broken body. His words sometimes resigned sometimes rebellious are always tinged with poetry and incredibly soft.
The author gives us a just and true story that teaches us to see through the eyes of a different person (or just a normal child trapped in a body that does not obey him, leading others to think it is different).
What I liked:
- The emotions that this book has raised in me. Tidal wave of compassion, love and anger at certain situations that Melody faces.
- His incredible intelligence and his photographic memory, make melody a wealth of information of all kinds. I learned many things in this book, concerning both disease than others much lighter topics. I think when you emerge from a book with something, the author has managed her work. It brings us knowledge on certain topics or that it helps bring us something (a lesson of life, a moment of happiness, a new interest in something that was not known) has managed its author work if it allows us to highlight enriched his work, one way or another.
- A write poetic, peaceful and just ... I do not really know how to explain but there is something beautiful in these words. Melody, the main character is the narrator, and through his words, one can only find that she is a beautiful person ... It's weird to say that? We will say that not.
What I did not like:
- I want MORE !!!
In short, favorite for this book filled with sweetness. I recommend it with all my heart, really! And everyone, whatever your taste because even if you are a wholesale addict Fantasy (eg), this book is really that you make an exception!
Read this if: You want a quiet reading that carries you and touches you from the first to the last page.
