But "Queen Rock Montreal" in my opinion is no plate that you absolutely need in his collection. Certainly a good recording of a very good concert, but there are still better live discs. At a cursory glance at the tracklist is very quickly becomes clear that the Queen fan all songs already has one of the numerous other live plates (times of the cover version "Jailhouse Rock" apart). The two brilliant albums "Live Killers" (from the 70s) and "Live At Wembley" (concert of 1986) cover the song catalog quite well off, "Queen On Fire - Live At The Bowl" was disastrous events quite significantly from, similar to this new publication.
In addition, the respective concerts of "Montreal" and "Live at the Bowl" were recorded only at intervals of six months, which is why you may be surprised even more. Well, Queen is just still a cash cow, with which there is to make a lot of money!
Conclusion: The hard core of fans will set this album well as any of the publications in recent years, because, despite all the criticism is an inspiring concert at Queen; the entry is not recommended, there are better alternatives (see above).
PS "Queen Rock Montreal" was incidentally recorded to the day ten years before Freddie Mercury's death.
