Until now, I was very pleased with all of my Amazon gadgets, but the SAT-IP transmitter is really not mature. Constantly the network connection is lost. Have the latest firmware (V1.0.0.95) partly filled, tried to use the device via DNLA or Telestar, after about 20-30 minutes, the device locks up and "disappeared" on the network. To exclude mistake of my Wi-Fi and LAN network I last provided the Digibit with a static IP and connected directly to my laptop, exactly the same mistakes, so off, wait and then restart Media Player or VLC and connect again by DNLA. On the laptop it can not be because my laptop 2 "sees" the Digibit the failure no longer on the network. On laptops, it may not be well, both Core i7 with 16GB Ram and have plenty of power under the hood. Have not given up hope and wait for more, hopefully successful firmware update.
Addendum of 07/07/2013: Shortly before the CL final, I visited the manufacturer's website by accident. Bingo, there is an update which solves the problem of network failure, and it worked. I can therefore recommend the SAP> IP converter without limitation. Although the supplied DVBAPP is very, very shaky, but Telebit can not. Unfortunately I have for Windows 7/8 or my XBMC Media Center still can not find another client. Would appreciate a recommendation for a client app.
