We have about 30 of Schleich Elves, our daughter (12) has a lot of playing with it since the elves are on the market. Now she is slowly getting out of the age. The Schleich figures are of excellent quality and durable. You can therefore make even smaller siblings happy. If you can not decide between Elves and Schleich animals: I would take the animals. Our 4 children (2,5,9,12) all play very much and always with so much imagination.
