My 6 year old son still love and marketing works wonders, especially before Christmas! He plays on the console and not the console (the figurines everywhere accompany and nourish his imagination.) From the perspective of parents, the game brings some new features compared to the Giants that we also own. First, the figures of the Giants have the top and bottom of the interchangeable body (hence the swap strength). The characters appear in the game as the child has mounted. In addition, they can jump and fly (which is nice on the Wii). Side history, the atmosphere is always the same and the legendary epic aspect is in the air. This new starter pack is however a little light product from the point of view of the renewal of places, history and characters. Most figurines resemble the old, but more expensive. True, children's taste for collections is fully exploited, but totally useless for adventure, especially because the Giants Spyro figurines and operate the portal and maintain their improvements. I also find that the chapters are long to finish and slightly more complex than in the previous game. As it is impossible to save before the end of chapter, this poses a problem playing time (if parents wish to limit the time spent watching WII!) In short, the designers are riding the wave Skylanders that offers new and interesting opportunities for play and pack it remains a good investment for small fans. The universe is rich and scripted (although there are no huge news). One of the interests of the game remains in my opinion the cooperative aspect in adventure mode the children play together to save Skylanders, which is much more constructive than combat mode!
