In 18 to 35 millimeters actually not bad.
The focal length range above I hardly use because my copy there just is pretty fuzzy, even if there are many benevolent reviews of this lens. Now the objective is really cheap, and who counts as me especially on the wide-angle end, which I can recommend it thoroughly. Because it is an original lens, not only CAs (color fringing off-center), but also vignetting and distortion are corrected automatically by the current Nikon cameras or ViewNX 2.
Unfortunately Focus manually is no joy with this lens because the tube really has clear game and you have to make extremely delicate manipulations. At 55 mm then the whole picture is shaking violently, but this focal length I use, as I said, almost never for this reason.
I must also point out that the focus motor sometimes goes crazy. If I put up on M and back on AF, we went so far and over again, but that's not really good, and I reckon somehow so that the lens does not hold too long. But let's see.
