"Alex" is like all the other books of Pierre Lemaître ... hard, raw and intense. If you're a fan of the genre, do not deprive yourself but for my part I sometimes had trouble with certain passages. I had already read "wedding dress" and I must say that it is of the same ilk. The plot is well put together, although it is curious to know the rest of the story but not being follower of the genre, I felt a big discomfort when playing some scenes of torture are terrible. However, once past horror, we do a flashback of Alex's life and from there it gets interesting. On the plot in revelation, one is struck by the mystery that is this girl for us. As I have said, it is a raw writing style then you either like or you do not like but it is not insensitive.
