When the old version 1.2. has, this maybe the old Noise Ninja module includes - because you have the system sold sometimes yes and you have purchased the program properly and honestly, you get to the version 2.x nothing to re-purchase price justifies. The old license key from the 1.xer version comes at a time that is no longer to be used, possibly the 1st version is not really true 64bit application because the installation due to lack of 32-libraries in the newer versions of Linux no longer can be carried out. This is the place where most of despair and then buy but the version 2, in the hope - everything will be fine again.
Will not it though. The version 2 is in my JPEGs without any exif information to large Stapelverabeitungen break off or the whole program collapses - the old version has loose weggesteckt 1000 RAWs in batch and processed behaved.
The 2 version is not mature, and the idea to explain the program for the Perfectly Clear function penny! - I can not understand. By what was coming out with Perfectly Clear, can live, if one does not have high demands on the result. You realize very quickly that you do not get better, no more than what newly packaged. Since then comes to anger and frustration because you due to the fact that the new systems apparently refuse to install the old version 1.2er, forced feel to use AfterShotPro2 or switch to completely different RAW converter. But - based on Linux - Darktable is not for everyone, there is no english manual to - and RawTherapee brings the quality is not that one is used to from AfterShotPro.
But the lack of 32-bit libraries in the new distributions disables the use of the old AfterShotPro out unfortunately. At first, the whole thing seems hopeless.
But only at first glance, there are instructions on the net, so among other things, in Lumiere forum, how the old version 1.2 also further can use in Ubuntu versions 4.14 to 2019 further example, you just have to look for it, how the "ia32-libs" and "gcc-multilib", and possibly others that automatically h from the dependencies with installing from source ~: //old-releases.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ raring main restricted universe multiverse installed later, then does it again. Possibly but you should then rather not "autoremove" make because the system so the old 32-erBibliotheken no longer thinks need to, and then - well ....
Then you start all over again ;-)
