It is important to measure first, how wide the door. Depending on a different template to be used (and the angle, how far the door by mounting the shutter can still be opened, changed).
I have first the template for the upper part is cut (the manual is only a folding blade) and then the marks for the drill holes scratched with a utility knife, so I really could mark the holes in the door and frame accurate. This saves then before the measure with a ruler and spirit level (which of course you can also do).
For the holes you need a 3.5 mm wood drill. Since there was not such in the local hardware stores, I have pre-drilled with a 3-wood drill bit and then reamed with a 3.5 mm steel drill. I then tightened the screws by hand, which worked out well.
The swing-arm you have to then turn until it fits on the item at the door and can be precisely fixed with the screw.
With a slotted screwdriver can then still on the side to adjust the shutter precisely what is quite simple.
Aperture on it, finished.
We have works fine and I am very satisfied. Finally, no more door slamming so loudly and violently (even toddlers have a lot of strength and energy ...) that one thinks that the whole wall breaks the same!
The only thing you should keep in mind before the installation is that you can no longer hold so easily open the door. The doorstop pushes the normally easily aside. We now use a small wooden wedge.
Conclusion: Good product, manual a bit poor.
