Ravensburger now offers the fairytale castle for reverse engineering in 3D for the home. One must however note that it is not just a puzzle, but it is, rather, a combination of puzzle and builders.
In addition to 216 puzzle pieces in a sturdy plastic, there are 99 construction parts, also made of plastic.
Are supplied the parts in a fairly large box. A 30-page guide is meant to help in the assembly. Initially it was also pretty easy going. The base was prefabricated in a and you could use it as a stable surface. The main building is then put together. Since the parts are all numbered and the direction indicated by arrows, where the next part has to go, you have the building built quickly together.
Then it comes to the construction of parts with which the roof and the towers are assembled. I have been puzzled several times on. Because what was previously numbered nice here was blank and you might not know which part belongs to which place. The instructions helped only a little further. So Max was. two pages displayed, but a tower had at least four if not six parts that were circular to arrange. I tried then to manage through the screening, but even that was far from clear, and so I do not know until now, for example, sitting all the windows in the right place?
The mating went against it reasonably easy. Did you get the hang, it was no longer a problem. The castle seemed stable, apart from the highest tower. The top floor is only on the design and is in no way connected to this safe. This is therefore the only place on the rickety construct.
Visually see the fairytale castle of beautiful and enchanted. The 3D effect is good effect. Time it was a very entertaining pleasure. One evening, the castle was built.
Conclusion:
A nice entertaining puzzle and fun design in which I think the focus is more on the decor as on a puzzle challenge.
