The Amazon-basics-burner is really a basic. It is simple, easy, characterized but not exactly massive. But well, did not even take on tracking travel before him. The burner is connected via an included USB cable directly to the PC / laptop / netbook and requires no additional power supply, which I find very convenient! The warning in the instructions that you may contribute to low battery, the power from the PC is not enough for me so it was unnecessary. However, the notice was interesting that this should be the case, the burner can be infected with a (this time not the same contained) power cord into an electrical outlet without any problems. Also included in the package is a guarantee and a 7-manual (EN, FR, DE; IT; ES JP CN). Personally, I was able to connect the burner to my netbook and without any setup or installation start (Windows XP). Very pleasant for me lazy PC users. :) However, in a package Nero9 Essentials CD-ROM is that you probably need to instructions for all as a Mac user. Copy and burn music CD worked without problems in WMA files however is then what went wrong, what exactly, I'm still working :( I have to burn once the Windows Media Player and even uses no special program to burn itself has thereby always worked smoothly. So I am on the whole satisfied with the small companion, however, it remains a mystery to me why the manual does not start with connecting the device, but 'remove the optical drive from the computer' with ??? An application that you never actually need. The burner is plugged in and ready, will be sealed up and ready. Who is this confusion has been forged ?!
