I was looking for a relatively easy-to-use dictation still remains affordable frame while still delivering good voice recording.
After really a long search, I have decided for the Sony ICDPX312.

I'm not a writer or reporter but do mostly short notes as reminders. Especially handy if you are traveling in the car and just can record something bad on paper.
And this is where I was the unit fully convinced. Even at relatively high driving noise is obtained an almost flawless voice recording. The noise is really very good filtered out.

For a device in this price category simple tip!

The extensible spoke and the filing in folders (which were previously partly filled by PC) facilitates assigning immensely.

So if a good looking device at a reasonable price is still probably best served with this unit. For me a buy recommendation.
