I use the Flüssigentkalker of Melitta for my Melitta Caffeo Bistro. The application is very simple. The product must be diluted with water and is for two Entkalkungsvorgänge. The predecessor was from powder and tasted at Amazon last just under 4 euros. It had to be stirred into water. The Flüssigentkalker of Melitta is more than twice as expensive (just under 8 euros). However, an added value I could not tell. It also produces more packaging waste.
Conclusion: Again, the product was that in my view "verschlimmbessert". 2 stars because of the somewhat simpler application compared to the powder.
Incidentally, even in water filters, descaling is recommended no later than every 8 weeks, with no filter possibly much earlier.
