I've slowly gotten used to it that when Weber - a premium for the name pays - for the admittedly good quality. Well, who wants to have absolutely Weber does that necessarily.
But the price of a pack of aluminum dishes (even if smart Weber is impressed) is simply outrageous.
I'm Grilling quite a bit, often 3 times a week, and am not a fussy clinically cleanliness freak, but the rust must be clean and the drip tray too. Ok, depending on what you have grilled reaches a flushing of the bowl with hot water properly. Usually I throw these things away, however after 1x crickets. And for that, the trays are simply too expensive.
But there are cheaper alternatives. I have found the following at Amazon.com:
The trays fit exactly into the receptacle in the Q 220 and just have the edge (which is somewhat higher here, so you can buckle the cover) are a little pressed.
So I no longer buy the Weber shells)
