I have a D7000 and D5200 one.
On both cameras, this lens makes very good. You can even work with blur.
The lens reflects very sharp, and the potential distortions counted out the camera.
The zoom range makes sure that you can also work in tele.
Previously I had the Nikon 18-105 and 16-85. Both no comparison to this objective. The images were always flat.
I would recommend the 24-85 highly.
