My son found this "laser sword" super, mainly because he likes how to fight it when it is fully assembled. To use the two swords individually, must they abschrauben- which although is not a big expense and also easily works- loosening a button, for example, would be better. The clay target falls off on its own and is really only in the area rum to be used instead. My son is 8 years old and can deal with his size well with the sword. For younger children, the sword is too long and can of this I think will be used only if it is divided into two parts. As seen from the other reviews, this "laser sword" lights up non the image on the packaging is therefore quite misleading and when the (on the package small printed) overlooks note text, the disappointment is in the child any size.
