Mercy was raised by the leader of the pack wolves in North America, and has mostly learned the code of wolves. But if it meant not to provoke too much, she can not help but to tease: she keep a rebellious side that annoys smile but these gentlemen! She ended up leaving a bit against the heart, but for his own good.
Volswagen become mechanic, she is proud of its independence and spends part of his time to tease the leader of the pack in its region with or without the help of the daughter of the latter elsewhere.
In short, she leads a quiet life and has made few friends among the supernatural community (a fan Vampire Scooby-Doo, a wandering ghost, a Fey who can manipulate metal or a scary witch). But things get complicated the day she discovers a recently converted wolf dying outside the door of his trailer.
Then follows a chain of events that will be dangerous for everyone.
It goes something not net the kingdom of werewolves, but Mercy will not let his friends in the storm without saying anything, even if one of them is his former childhood sweetheart and that their story continues to be difficult for both of them.
Mercy will throw at heart lost in the story, especially as a young girl she likes is removed in turn.
It is a nice story, and enjoyable as we book out Patricia Briggs. If I do not regard it as the best Urban Fantasy, I nevertheless great fun reading the adventures of this mechanic like no other.
The humor is present, and I love it. It has action, past dramas, emotions: in short a sacred mix!
