A "cool" matter

One in advance: it is a mystery to me, as it can not afford a company like Microsoft, so a heat-sensitive or poorly refrigerated product to sell? The ROD (Ring of Death) is legendary, steps up to a good sales figures, on the other hand definitely also the displeasure of the buyer.
Long story short: I bought recently the slim and even in this model I already had 3 Freezes, thanks to the accumulated heat (both standing and lying!). So had to be a solution.

KA why the Intercooler STS is no longer offered here, I have then ordered him up in the bay and directly from Hong Kong. The delivery time is naturally accordingly, but one already at this point: the wait was worth it!

For Intercooler ansich there is little to say, the thing is made of plastic, inside has a fan and you put it just on the Lueftungsschlitze the box. So far so good.

Unfortunately, you can not regulate the speed nor the volume related. Personally it does not bother me, because I really always been playing with the headset - but when I'm not at the start, then the thing is already really loud (sounds like a really high-revving cool air fan).

Wen the volume but, like me, do not mind, the will experience miracles in the heat dissipation. My Slim is now not even lukewarm!
The only thing you much at this point. should note the standing XBox sucks indeed air from below. So I put them deliberately to a level below the groove has (unfortunately also available here). I did that quite beuwsst because my thought was, if I also ask the Slim to a cooled stator (with fans) then, then it may be that is reingedrueckt from below either too much or too little air, the internal pressure and Abfuhrverhaeltnis would have disturbed. So taken a passive state and the intercooler can enjoy themselves at will;)
In addition, you should let the XBox after the make out a few minutes on stream. The intercooler cools after make out 2x by for a few minutes. This helps the box quickly down to cool and prevents heat builds inside and keep - really thoughtful and useful!

As I said, for the price of just under 20 and the outside noise level times before leaving, I can the Intercooler STS highly recommend!
