As it is now, that long-awaited 5th album of mask men from Iowa. Granted, the expectations were very high, which means what is also entitled with a band this format. First impression: It is again bludgeoned hard! This point I evaluate as very positive, since the last album "All Hope Is Gone" I was at times too soft. It was like a very good album, but I think at times to Stone Sour. I can hear through for couple times saying: It is not only harder but also become pretty good. On the Self Titled album it comes long not approach, but that will never be recovered. For me it's one of the better albums and truly satisfactory. Softer passages are still present, but well implemented and thankfully not too exaggerated. The only song of me is a little bored "Sceptic". The production could have been a bit "fatter" and the clean vocals a bit "dirty" as in earlier times. Joey is not actually missing. It's a must-have for every Maggot, but also no bad buy for fans of the harder rail.
