Sound quality (+)
The sound quality is my my opinion, very good for the described purposes. Primarily, of course, designed for gaming, it shines most here. Locating the enemy is not a problem with 7.1. Listening to music is also quite good, of course, no comparison with good pit.
Microphone (+/-)
In my Skype conferences I had the opportunity to someone else, who also owns the G930 to hear and could not detect any difficulties. Always nice clear voice without background noise. The Auto Muting folding the microphone was very convenient, as long as they still had to work. after about 1 year, Mute does not work anymore.
Quality / Habilität (+/-)
Generally, a solid headset. Much glossy plastic, but fairly stable through the metal bracket. The bracket is easy to adjust the head size, no problem here. However, the main problem is the imitation leather on the headband and the ear cups. Already after a few months of use, the material began to become brittle and to dissolve. Meanwhile, almost 2 years after purchase has nearly run out leatherette available but only the bare pad is visible. During this period I always settle at the Headset many small black rags in my hair and had on his face, which is quite disturbing. Because now the leatherette as no longer is so good there, I have this problem any more, but a device in this price range I would have expected more.
Battery / Wireless (+)
Very durable battery. Come many playtime from it and charge it every few days. Before the battery runs low, logs the headset and you have enough time to infect it. Now after almost 2 years, I notice langam that the battery has reduced its capacity and I have infected significantly more often.
The range of the headset is more than adequate. I can easily go through the house, without the connection being dropped. Even in the garden, I sometimes still connect. Only when I have 2 floors contrast, aborts the connection. The general range I would describe as 10m +.
Comfort (+/-)
Generally very comfortable headset. Soft ear pads and padded headband. By setting and the mobility of the shells sure to find a comfortable position. I am, however, noticed that after long gaming sessions (3h +) me hurts my skullcap noticeably. I can not tell if it's up to my head, it will not let therefore be included in the evaluation, but it wanted to say.
Limited buy recommendation. Comfortable, but inferior materials at earpads. Good range and battery performance is satisfactory, but the mute function is gone already after a few months break.
For the price of currently about 110 secure a solid headset, for the face value of 180 is definitely too expensive.
As an alternative, I can recommend the Sennheiser PC360, cheaper alternatives were here the G430, which does not have the problem with the leatherette or Stel Series Siberia V2
